The annual 'Concours d'Elegance' was held at Heritage Motor Centre,
Gaydon, Warwickshire.
It rained.
All day.
Luckily the museum provided some entertainment, the restaurant somewhere to eat and drink in the dry and the Seminar room somewhere to meet and chat. Dan
Schaal (from Luxembourg) had brought some amazing mosaics of the Marcos badge and
a racing LM600 made from literally thousands of small photos of Marcos cars; searching
for one's own car was clearly an important task.
Judging of the cars for the Concours was carried out in difficult circumstances
by Rory McMath and Andy Derrick; our grateful thanks to them for carrying out the
judging.
