MARCOS 50th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Friday 14th August

The Marcos Magical Mystery Tour. The weekend started with the Marcos Mystery Tour, ably organised by Roger and Melanie Garland, with lots of help from MMOC members and friends, bringing together around 60 Marcos for a very interesting excursion round the countryside; some folks noted it as the highlight of the weekend. Please don’t underestimate the level of planning that went into the route and the many places of interest that were visited along the way, so well done.

Saturday 15th August

The grounds of Sudeley Castle, provided a superb backdrop for Saturday’s event, the 50th Anniversary Concours d’Elegance. As always, many thanks to the judges. The results of the Concours d'Elegance

Sunday 16th August

Prescott Hill Climb, based just outside Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, is home to one of the world’s most prestigious motor racing venues. Set in 60 acres of glorious Cotswold countryside, the estate provides a beautiful setting for a range of classic car and bike weekends, as well as hosting major motor racing championships. This was the venue for the culmination of the Marcos 50th Anniversary weekend. Undoubtedly the biggest gathering of the Marcos marque ever assembled, it was a truly memorable day.
